Connections for Women provides single and two parent families with children, with Emergency CRISIS Housing and supportive services in the County of Los Angeles. We provide support to women and families regardless of their race, sex, religious beliefs, disability, sexual preference or ethnicity.  The program operates through partnerships with the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority and The City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Unified School District, Private Foundations, Local Business Owners.

 

Our Community-Based Housing case managers provide each woman and/or family with the individualized support needed to regain personal stability.

We offer:

•       Emergency Crisis Housing assistance to women and families needing housing.

             We connect them with safe, permanent housing as quickly as possible.

•       Case Management for women living with mental or physical health conditions to         develop long term health-strategies

•       Permanent Housing Referrals and Placement

 

 

Connections For Women provides families in crisis with short-term emergency shelter in South Los Angeles.

 

Throughout their time in Emergency Crisis, children and their parents are provided with daily grab-and-go breakfasts and hot evening meals, as well as clothing and household items as needed. While in a safe and comfortable living space with their children, parents work with our case managers, housing locators and employment specialists to achieve stability and independence for their families. We help move families into permanent housing and connect them with our vast network of community partners while also continuing to support their growth with aftercare services that we provide.
